History: She was born into the Akatsuki, so far she is the first of Pains descendants to stick around. Originally she was not to be the leader of the clan, she was aware that 200 years ago, her ancestor was the leader as he started it. Sense then, she's been hard headed and stubborn about being the leader.
Still in her younger years, the leader at the time saw how headstrong she was about being the leader. Saw how hard she trained to be strong, and saw how much wisdom she had. When she hit her teen years he challenged her to a dual, to test her skills of combat. He was surprised that he lost the fight, her having the chance to kill him she didnt. Instead she walked away saying that the death of him would be useless. She then attained the leader position at that age of sixteen.
